Hooke Park

The ‘Big Shed’ is a 500sqm assembly workshop building erected in Hooke Park (Dorset, South West England). Atelier One were approached by Architectural Association Design and Make and the Mitchell Taylor Workshop to demonstrate the potential for using low-value local timber in-the-round, for its environmental and structural advantage of minimal industrial processing and material transport.
